Bio

Jason Brancewicz-Lloyd provides assessment, treatment, clinical supervision, case consultation, and service oversight for youth, adults, couples, and families with complex clinical and forensic needs.

His practice includes cognitive, psychological, risk, and parenting-capacity assessments, with particular experience supporting high-risk and high-need individuals, including adolescents and adults who have engaged in sexually harmful or violent behaviour and people with developmental disabilities. Jason’s work is grounded in an understanding of the intersecting effects of trauma, emotional and behavioural dysregulation, family stress, and system involvement.

Before joining FPS in 2017, Jason led children’s therapy programming within Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba. In that role, he provided individual, group, couples, and family therapy; supervised a provincial residential resource for youth with sexually harmful behaviour; supported treatment for domestically violent men; and offered consultation, program development, and training to social workers, foster parents, residential programs, and other care providers.

A Canadian Certified Counsellor and Registered Social Worker, Jason holds a Master of Education in Guidance Counselling and a Bachelor of First Nations and Aboriginal Counselling from Brandon University. His clinical work integrates structured, trauma-informed, CBT-informed approaches with collaborative, culturally responsive care tailored to each client’s needs, strengths, relationships, and community context.
